Deciding what to use for the practice phase. Testing 4/29! Scored a 508 (126/128/126/128) on the AAMC Sample Test as my diagnostic today. Looking to improve into the 520+ range. :) I've been seeing that UWorld is good for explanations whereas Blueprint's FLs are representative of AAMC FLs. Is getting both worth it? Or is one better than the other?CARS was kind of like my MCAT Practice coffee, you can say. There are no tricks to CARS, just do as many passages as you can until you finally understand it. If you keep doing enough, the passages kinda repeat themselves, you will see a pattern. Start your studying session w/ your daily dose of JackWestin. 4 passages and then review them.

You also likely remember many answers from the diagnostic which may lead to score inflation on a retake. I think you should only do retakes when you use all of your tests because by that time, you will probably have forgotten the answers you chose the first time around, preventing that score inflation and making the retake score more accurate.Convert to grams per mole. Looking at the periodic table, chloride is 35 grams, sodium is 23 grams. You can do some rounding because this is the MCAT. If the answer is 27, and you got less than 30, that’s good enough for the MCAT. 23 (Sodium) + 35 (Chloride) is around 60.
